		    George Moody, 88, 335 Palm Circle, Flagler Beach, pioneer  developer of Flagler County died at 3 a. m. Monday at Bunnell General Hospital  where he was admitted Saturday afternoon after suffering an apparent heart  attack.
		    He was a former state representative and had been a member  of the State Democratic Executive Committee for 16 years, serving on many  committees.
		    Born in Baxley, Ga., February 10, 1879, he moved to Bunnell  from there in 1904. In 1914 he moved to Ocean City Beach which he homesteaded  and helped develop into a city which was later renamed Flagler Beach. He was  the first mayor of Flagler Beach when the town was incorporated in 1925 and  served several terms as commissioner. He was also a member of the first Bunnell  City Council and also the first Flagler County Commission.
		    He was active as chairman of the East Florida Mosquito  Control District and as chairman of the Flagler County Democratic Executive  Committee at the time of his death.
		    He was a charter member of the First Methodist Church of Bunnell,  Masonic. Lodge No. 200, F. & A. M., Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 93  and a life-member of Morocco Temple.
		    Mr. Moody is, survived by his wife, Julia; a daughter, Mrs.  Eula Fuller, Bunnell; a step-daughter, Mrs. John Parsons, Montgomery, Ala.; three  sons, George Miles, Flagler Beach; Leonard, Alexandria, Va.; and I. I., Lake  City; a step-son, Wayne Wallace, Daytona Beach; 13 grandchildren and 17  great-grandchildren.
		    Funeral services were held at 10:00 a. m. Wednesday at the  First Methodist Church in Bunnell. Rev. Oliver Taylor, pastor of the church  officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Reynold Hoover, First Methodist Church of  Flagler Beach. Interment followed at Espanola Cemetery. Craig Funeral Home of  Bunnell was in charge of arrangements.
		    Active pallbearers were Charles Creal, Clinton Giddens, P.  A. Edmonson, A. B. Johnston, Otis Hunter, and Tommy Durrance.
		    Honorary pallbearers were Ray Mercer, Senator Verle Pope,  Lyman Gage, Frank Brede, Frank Upchurch, Zach Holland, E. H. Treadgill, J. W.  Green, Henry Coleman, Robert Merrell, Claude Varn, Walter Cody, Tom Holden,  A.C. Rogers, W. W. Deen, R. W. Deen and T. K. McKnight.
