   William Davis "Bill"  Millican, 72, of Bunnell, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Florida  Hospital Memorial Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a native  of St. Augustine and was raised in Palatka where he graduated in 1961 from  Palatka Senior High School.
William Davis "Bill"  Millican, 72, of Bunnell, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Florida  Hospital Memorial Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a native  of St. Augustine and was raised in Palatka where he graduated in 1961 from  Palatka Senior High School. 
  
		      Bill had resided in  Flagler County (Andalusia) since 1969. He had served in Special Forces with the  US Army. He retired from Georgia Pacific after 35 years of service as a tow  motor operator. Bill had also been a rancher. He was a member of the American Legion,  the NRA and was an avid NASCAR fan. Bill also enjoyed hunting and fishing as  well as traveling in their RV as members of the Good Sam Club. He was of the  Presbyterian faith.
 
		      
		      He is preceded in death  by his parents, John Edward Millican and Emily Campbell Millican and a brother,  John Campbell "Jack" Millican. 
		      
		      He is survived by his  wife of 48 years, Linda Cody Millican of Andalusia, a son, William Cody  Millican of Jacksonville, daughters, Kellie Millican Wing (Nate) of Winder-mere  and Emily Carol Millican of Palm Coast, a brother, James, Millican of Cocoa  Beach, sister-in-law, Sandra Collins Millican of Marietta, six grandchildren,  Corban, Catie, Caleb, Hannah, Owen and Eli and his beloved canine companion,  Easter. 
		      
		      Services will be held  at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in  Bunnell with Bro. Ray Mercer officiating. Burial will follow in Espanola  Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2:00  pm until the time of service. 
		      
		      In lieu of flowers  memorial donations may be sent to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517,  Topeka, Kansas 6667. 
		      
		      Arrangements are under  the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
