Dewayne Dorsey Metts, 71, Hwy. 100, Bunnell, went to see his Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast, after a long illness.

He was also an active member of The First Baptist Church of Bunnell and an ordained deacon for many years. He loved his Lord and took his faith seriously by always serving others in any way he could.
Dewayne had many hobbies he loved including softball, hunting, fishing, church functions and cookouts with his children and grandchildren. His favorite was catching a pile of fish and having the family over.
