Carolyn Mercer, 68, 10131 Gilway Ave., Holly Hill, S.C., a former resident of Bunnell, died Wednesday at home after a long illness.

Mrs. Mercer was born In Elkton and moved to Holly Hill, S.C. 20 years ago from Bunnell. She was a member of the Holly Hill (S.C.) Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Richard, Norfolk, Va., Paul, Holly Hill, S. C.; two sisters, Pearl Kercehval, Elkton, Camilla Berwaldt, Bunnell; and three grandchildren.

In lieu of other remembrances the family prefers donations to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
