BUNNELL -- Shirley "Sammie" J. Medders, 35, of County Road 2006, an accountant/clerk for Palm Coast Data, died Friday as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on County Road 2006. 

Mrs. Medders was born in Bunnell, and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints Church. She enjoyed baking and canning foods. 

Survivors include her husband, Joey; a son, Jacob, a daughter, Jacey, her mother, Louise Mazzatto, and a brother, Jon Mazzatto, all of Bunnell; and a sister, Sheila Burch, Jacksonville.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humanitarian Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, in care of Matt Boyd, P.O. Box 134, Bunnell, FL 32110.
