William L. McNaughton, 72-year­old resident of the St. Johns Park section of Flagler County, died late Wednesday night from paralysis at the home of Mrs. James May here.

Mr. McNaughton was born in Perth, Scotland, coming to the United States when a young man, first living in Chicago then moving to Flagler County 22 years ago with Mrs. McNaughton, who is, so far as can be ascertained, the only living relative of the dead man. The widow was Miss Beatrice A. Peters before her marriage to Mr. McNaughton at Chicago in 1905.

Funeral service were held this afternoon from the home of Mrs. May, Rev. C. M. Samford, pastor of the local Methodist church, officiating. Burial was made late this afternoon in Espanola Cemetery.
