Thursday, Apri1 9, 1981Fitzhugh L. Malphurs, 82, of 307 S. Central Ave., Flagler Beach, died of an apparent heart attack March 31 in Memorial Hospital in Ormond Beach.
He was a retired farmer and was the former owner of Malphurs Restaurant in Bunnell.
A lifelong resident of Flagler County, he was born in St. Johns Park and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bunnell. He also was the owner of property on which the Malphurs Subdivision is being developed in St. Johns Park.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; a daughter, Doris Hersey of Bunnell, and a grandson.
Arrangements were by Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell.
