		    Mrs. Grace Spaulding Lord, a resident of Espanola community  four miles north of Bunnell, died in a St. Augustine hospital Saturday after a  short illness.
		    Funeral services were held at the graveside in Espanola  Cemetery Monday afternoon, with Rev. Robert Carr of the Bunnell Methodist  Church, officiating. Arrangements were in charge of Garcia Funeral Home of St.  Augustine.
		    She was a native of Gills Landing, Waupaca County, Wiaweega,  Wisconsin. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Milton, Wisconsin,  and had lived in Florida since 1919.
		    Mrs. Lord formerly lived in St. Augustine but had been a  resident of Flagler County since 1926. She was a member of Maria Jefferson  Chapter, D. A. R. of St. Augustine. She had served as a member of the Flagler  County School Board and later as a school trustee. She also served as a member  of the State Welfare Board and the State Democratic Executive Committee from  this county.
		    She attended Lawrence College, Appleton, Wis., University of  Wisconsin and Leland Stanford University at Stanford, Calif.
		    Surviving are three daughters, Miss Celia Lord and Mrs.  Harold Emery of Espanola, and Mrs. W. L. Fortner of Hastings and a son, Carl W.  Lord of Miami. Nine grandchildren also survive.
		    Pallbearers were D. H. Emery, E. A. Hunter of Espanola; Nick  Kavouklis, J. F. Mercer of Bunnell; T. W. Richardson and Herman Watson of St.  Augustine.
