		    Mrs. Frances Lewis, one of the pioneer settlers of the St.  Johns Park section of this county, died early Sunday morning, December 26, at  the home of her son, Clyde Lewis, on Lambert avenue, following an illness of  three months duration.
		    Mrs. Lewis was born in 1864 in Lebanon, Ky. She was married  58 years ago to William M. Lewis and they resided in Indiana a number of years  before coming to St. Johns Park in 1909 where they owned and operated a farm  until 1935. At that time they moved to Bunnell where they made their home with  their son.
		    Mrs. Lewis suffered a fall last September, receiving  injuries from which she did not recover.
		    She is survived by one son, W. C. Lewis of Bunnell, and one  daughter, Mrs. Ruth Milford of Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. Delia Woodruff of  Evansville, Indiana. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Judith Lewis of  Bunnell and Helen Lewis of Miami.
		    Funeral services were held at the Espanola Cemetery on  Monday afternoon at three o'clock with Rev. R. A. Selby, pastor of the Bunnell  Methodist Church, officiating and Rev. W. K. McClure, pastor of the Baptist  Church, assisting. Funeral arrangements were in charge of McCabe Funeral Home  of St. Augustine.
		    Pallbearers were Dean Holland, Dale B. Brown, F. L.  Malphurs, Joseph Harding, Frank Mercer and Hubert Frier.
