Mrs. Ruth C. Lennox, mother of Maurice Akers of Bunnell, died in a nursing home in Palatka Friday night following a long illness. She had been a resident of Bunnell for about a year, coming here from Indianapolis, Indiana. She was 65 years of age.

Funeral services were held at the Masters Memorial Chapel at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon with Rev. T. H. Norton, pastor of St. James Methodist Church, Palatka officiating. Burial was at the Espanola Cemetery here with Masters Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Forrester of Indianapolis, Ind.; and one son, Maurice Akers of Bunnell. A brother, J. G. Collings, Terre Haute, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. A. A. Collings, Artesia Park. Also among survivors are a niece, Mrs. E. W. Wilson, and a nephew Clyde Collings of Artesia Park on North A-1-A.
