		    J. V. Kudrna, one of the early settlers of Flagler County,  died early Wednesday morning at a Palatka hospital following a short illness.
		    Mr. Kudrna, who was 76 years of age, was born in  Czechoslovakia and came to the United States when he was 7 years old, settling  in South Dakota. He came to Flagler County 26 years ago and was engaged in the  farming and dairying business at Espanola until a few months ago.
		    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. J. V. Kudrna; two sons,  William E. Kudrna of Bunnell; Joseph Kudrna of Dayton, Oregon; one daughter,  Mrs. M. M. Dolezal, of White River, South Dakota. Also one brother, J. J.  Kudrna of Tabor, South Dakota, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Wurtz, of Tyndall,  South Dakota.
		    Funeral services are to be held Friday afternoon at 2: 30 at  the Espanola Cemetery, with Rev. J. M. Sullivan, pastor of Lemon Heights  Baptist church of' Palatka, conducting the service.
		    The pallbearers are W. K. Fouraker, O. F. Alford, E. A.  Hunter, A. G. Thompson, Frank King and W.C. Sullivan.
