		      KORNOA – John Kempisty, 86, a former resident here for 27 years, died Tuesday  in Racine, Wis.
		      
		      Born in Poland, Mr.  Kempisty was an Army veteran of World War 1 and moved to Racine 14 years ago  from here. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Korona.
		      
		      Survivors include three  sons and one step son.
		      
		      Burial will be in  Espanola Cemetery.

		      John Kempisty, 86, who  had lived in Korona for 27 years, died Jan. 20 in Racine, Wis.
		      
		      He moved to Racine 14  years ago from Korona, where he was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Born in Poland, he was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Army, and was a  retired commercial gardener.
		      
		      He was the husband of the  late Laverne Kempisty.
		      
		      Survivors include three  sons, Henry, Richard and Theodore, all of Depew, N. Y., and a stepson, Jesse  Overby of Racine.
		      
		      Graveside services were  held Monday morning at Espanola Cemetery with the Rev. Walter Bayer,  officiating.
		      
		      Craig Funeral Home was in  charge of arrangements.
