Saddened by the unexpected death Monday of Albert B. Johnston Sr., 66, of Bunnell, Flagler County residents attended graveside services at 10 a.m., Wednesday for him at Espanola Cemetery.

The Rev. George Lynch, pastor of the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church officiated during services for Johnston, a member of a pioneer Flagler County family.

Johnston was born in Espanola and lived his lifetime in the county. He was a farmer and member of the Hastings Potato Growers Assoc. and a member of the Bunnell First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Ria, a daughter, Mrs. Nell Brown of San Bernardino, Calif., two sons, Albert Johnston, Jr., and John Johnston, both of Bunnell. Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Margaret Cook of Flagler Beach, three brothers, Carlton, Walton and Danny, all of Bunnell and a grandson.

Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell was in charge of arrangements.
