		    J. S. Hankerson, aged 57, resident of Flagler County for the  past three years, died at his home on the Deen Road early Tuesday morning after  an illness of several months. Mr. Hankerson was employed by Deen & Allen,  turpentine operators, before his illness.
		    Surviving the deceased are his widow; two sons, James and  Muncie; six daughters, Eulalie, Bernice, Muriel and Jacqueline, all of whom  live here, and two daughters who are residents of New York.
		    Funeral services were held from the Baptist church Wednesday  afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. J. M. DeVette conducting the service.
		    Interment was made in Espanola Cemetery, where a large crowd  of friends attended the last rites.
