MRS BURLEY, LONGTIME RESIDENT, PASSED AWAY

Mrs. Mae B. Gurley, 64 Deen Road, Bunnell, passed away Sunday afternoon at Bunnell General Hospital.

Mrs. Gurley was born in Baxley, GA and moved to Flagler County 53 years ago from there. She was a member of Bunnell First Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 5213.

She is survived by her husband Paul; one son, Frank Hutchenson, Jr., Miami; three step-sons, Dennis and Presley Gurley, both of Birmingham, Ala.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Barbara Hubbard, Fort Lauderdale; Mrs. Linda Harold and Mrs. Lorraine Kembrough, both of Birmingham, Ala., two sisters, Mrs. Hattie King and Mrs. Dorothy Barber; two brothers, J. W. and Franklin, all of Bunnell; and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 in Bunnell First Baptist Church with Rev T Shelton Brooks, officiating, Interment was at Espanola Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were M B McDaniel, Clif Sheffield, Jimmy Fields, Floyd Gossell, Dalton Cobb and Rob Deen. Honorary pallbearers were Clifford Higginbotham, C H Cowart and Raymond Smith.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell was in charge.
