HOLLYWOOD - Kathleen (Kay) Gowdy, 81, a former resident of Bunnell, died Tuesday at a local hospital. 

Mrs. Gowdy was born in Wexham, England, and moved to Bunnell in the early 1970s, before moving to Hollywood from Atlanta. She was a retired licensed practical nurse for the former Bunnell General Hospital and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary, Bunnell. 

Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen Gowdy, Hollywood, Marsha Kaye, Woodstock, Ga., and Shirley Speirs, Deerfield, Ill.; two brothers, Ted and Mike O'Halloran, both of Ontario; a sister, Jess Simmons, Toronto; and six grandchildren.
