Death came quietly early Tuesday morning to Mrs. C. B. Gordon at her home on Deen Road after a lingering illness that kept her confined in bed for the past four months. Mrs. Gordon was 59 years of age.

She was a native of North Carolina, but came to Flagler County from Cheraw, South Carolina, 18 years ago, and has made her home in Bunnell during that period.

She is survived by four sons, Clarence and Allen Gordon of Bunnell; Olin Gordon of Cheraw, South Carolina; and George Gordon of Brooklyn, New York. Six grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 8 o'clock at Espanola Cemetery where the burial was made. Rev. O. S. Palmer, pastor of the local Methodist church conducted the service.

Pallbearers were Clyde Lewis, T. E. Holden, Raymond Lowery, D. D. Moody, S. H. Cameron and R. R. Burgess.
