BUNNELL – Arch Giddens, 81, 501 E. Palm St., a retired dragline operator, died Saturday at Ormond Beach Health Care Center after a long illness.

Mr. Giddens was born in St. Katherine and moved here 35 years ago from Jacksonville.

Survivors include three daughters, Frances Arnold and Elaine Edge, both of Bunnell, and Martha Brasol, Naples, Italy; two sons, George, Bunnell, and Richard, DeLeon Springs; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Craig, Bunnell, is in charge.
