Alfred Gibson, 71, South Chapel Street, Bunnell, died Tuesday morning at Bunnell General Hospital.

Born in Scott County, Va., he moved to Bunnell 8 years ago from Coeburn, Va. Mr. Gibson was a retired railroad employee.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, Bunnell; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Webb, and Mrs. Nina Gore, both of Bunnell; Mrs. Eva Kennedy, Morristown, Tenn., and Mrs. Rose Stovall, Port Orange; a step-son, Carl Farmer, Butler, Pa.; ten grandchildren and 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 at First Baptist Church, Bunnell. The Rev. Charles Anders officiated.

Pallbearers were Jack Hosford, P. A. Edmonson, George Moody, Bion Matherly, L. H. Church and John Clegg.

Interment was at Espanola Cemetery.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
