		      William E. Gentry, 49, Highway 13, Bunnell, passed away Wednesday, July 23  at the Gainesville Veterans Hospital after a brief illness. 
		      
		      Born in Little Rock, Ark., he moved to Bunnell 8 years ago from Pompano  Beach. He was a member of American Legion Post 115; DAV Jim Booe Chapter 86 and  VFW Post 5213.
		      
		      He is survived by his wife, Connie, Bunnell; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty  Joyce Bowen, Wauchula; five step-sons, J.M. and Casey, both of Warner Robbins,  Ga.; Wesley, Waco, Texas; Paul, Tucson, Arizona; and Mike Windham, Bunnell; two  sisters, Mrs. Jewell Russ, Ft. Pierce; and Mrs. Pearl Arnold, Lakeland.
		      
		      Funeral services were at 11:00 Saturday morning at the Craig Funeral Home  Chapel, Bunnell. The Rev. Earle Wilder, pastor of the Bunnell First United  Methodist Church, officiated. The Rev. Lester Stanton officiated at Military  graveside services conducted by D.A.V., V.F.W. and American Legion posts at  Espanola Cemetery.
		      
		      Craig Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
