		    BUNNELL - Mrs. Bessie S. Deen, 77, a former resident of Flagler  County, died Wednesday in an Ocala Hospital. Mrs. Deen was the widow of Adolph  Deen, the first Tax Assessor of Flagler County when it was created in 1917.
		    Survivors include two sons, one sister, four grandchildren  and four great grandchildren. Burial will be Saturday in Bunnell.

		    DEEN, MRS. BESSIE S. -   Funeral service for Mrs. Bessie S. Deen, 77, Ocala, widow of the late  Adolph Deen, who died Wednesday afternoon in an Ocala hospital will be 2 p.m.  Saturday at the First Methodist Church, Bunnell, with the Rev Charles Kinder,  Clermont, officiating, Burial will be in the Espanola Cemetery.
		    Mrs. Deen was a former resident of Flagler County and her  husband was the first tax assessor when the county was created in 1917. She is  survived by two sons, John Deen, Ocala, and George Edward Deen, Lake Park,  Fla., and one sister, Mrs. D. J .Barbee, Waycross, Ga., four grandchildren and  four great-grandchildren.

		    FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN OCALA
		    Mrs. Bessie Smith Deen, 77, widow of Adolph Deen, Flagler  County's first tax assessor, died Wednesday in Ocala.
		    She moved to Bunnell in 1909 from Baxley, Ga. and resided  here until 1930.
		    Survivors include two sons, John Deen, Ocala; and George E.  Deen, Lake Park, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. O. J .Barbee, Waycross, Ga.; four  grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
		    Funeral services were Saturday at Bunnell Methodist Church.  The Rev Charles Kinder, Clermont officiated. Rev Oliver Taylor, pastor,  assisted.
		    Interment was at Espanola Cemetery.
