		    ADOLPH DEEN FIRST COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR DIES
		    Adolph Deen, 79, Ocala, first Tax Assessor of Flagler  County, died early Monday afternoon in an Ocala Hospital after a lengthy  illness.
		    Born in Baxley, GA, he resided in Flagler County from 1907  until early 1930. He was employed in the turpentine business with his late  uncles, Ike Moody, Bob Moody, Sr. and George Moody, Sr. He was a retired Star  Route carrier of the Post Office Dept. He was a member of the Ocala First Methodist  Church.
		    Funeral services were Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the  First Methodist Church of Bunnell. The Rev. Charles Kinder, Clermont,  officiated. Burial followed at Espanola Cemetery.
		    He is survived by his wife, Bessie, Ocala, two sons, John,  Ocala, and George, West Palm Beach, one sister, Mrs. Ruth Ireland, Orlando; a  half-sister, Mrs. Alma Dent, and a half-brother, John Upchurch, both of  Orlando; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews  and cousins, many who reside in Flagler County.
		    Pallbearers were Louie Deen, Orlando; Herbert Deen, Baxley,  GA; George Deen, Jr., Melbourne, Noland Ward, Lake Butler, D. A. Lewis, Jr.,  Lowell and George M. Moody, Bunnell.

		      Bunnell -- Adolph Deen, 79, Ocala, Flagler County's first  Tax Assessor, died Tuesday afternoon at an Ocala hospital.
		    Mr. Deen was born in Baxley, GA and lived in Flagler County  from 1907 until the early 20's. 
              
		      He was a retired postal carrier and employed in the  turpentine industry with his uncles, the late George, Ike, and Robert Moody.
