		      Ruth  Hunter Damron, 54, of Sea Ship Place, Palm Coast, passed away Sept. 18 at  Florida Hospital Flagler, following a lengthy illness. 
		    She retired after many  years of service with Bunnell Hospital, State of Florida and Family Life  Center. She lived in Flagler County her entire life, being the fifth generation  in the county. The Hunter family were among the first settlers in Flagler  County history. She was also the daughter of former Bunnell Police Chief  Wilford Hunter. 
		    		      She  often spoke of her wonderful childhood in Bunnell. An avid NASCAR and Jeff  Gordon fan, Ruth loved spending time with her grandchildren more than anything.  She also loved animals and following current news events. Ruth had a wonderful  smile and never met a stranger. She had an outgoing personality and was loved  by all who met her. 
		      
		      Ruth  is survived by her mother, Wanelle Hunter of Holly Hill; beloved daughters,  Crystal, Lisa and Edee, all of Palm Coast; seven grandchildren; sister, Shelley  Elebash of Pennsylvania; three nephews, Hunter, TJ and Isaih; and best friends,  Frankie Robson, Rose Lites and Kim Anson. 
		      
		      Ruth will be dearly missed by all.
