Charles E. Creal, president and chairman of the board of trustees of the Bank of Flagler Beach, died Monday (January 6, 1975) following an extended illness.
Mr. Creel, 54, lived at 555 N. 10th Street, Flagler Beach, having moved to Flagler County 37 years ago from his birthplace, Buffalo, Ky.
A former president and chairman of the board of the Citizens Bank of Bunnell, he was one of the original members of the board of trustees of the Daytona Beach Community College and was a former fire chief of the Bunnell Volunteer Fire Department.
He was a member of the Bunnell, First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Ann; two daughters Nancy and Carol; two sons, Robert and Billy, all of Flagler Beach.
Grave side funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Espanola Cemetery with the Rev Max Hall, pastor of Flagler Beach First Baptist Church, officiating.
