Thursday, August 23, 1973Edward D. Cobb, 71, Bunnell, passed away Monday morning in a St. Augustine Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Oconee County, Ga., Mr. Cobb moved to Flagler County 50 years ago from Clearmont, Ga. He was a retired farmer and member of Bunnell First Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Crow of Sarasota, and Mrs. Ruby Staton, Gainesville, Ga.; two brothers, William, of Tampa, and Hugh, of Weatherford, Texas.
Funeral Service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Craig Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Foster officiating. Interment was in Espanola Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Travis Chambers, Cordell Robertson, Lloyd Robertson, Clyde Lewis, Lee Blakely and A. B. Johnston.
