		    Mrs. Pearl Graham Byrd, wife of Frank L. Byrd of Bunnell,  died early last Friday evening in the St. Vincent hospital in Jacksonville,  following an illness of six weeks.
		    Mrs., Byrd was a native of Sharon, Georgia, and had lived  here for the past 35 years. She operated to Halcyon hotel on Old Dixie.
		    Funeral services were held at three o’clock Sunday afternoon  from the hotel. Rev. Herman B. Murdock, past of the Methodist Church officiated  and was assisted by Rev. W. W. Rhody, pastor of the Baptist Church. Internment  followed at Espanola Cemetery.
		    Mrs. Byrd is survived by her husband, Frank L. Byrd and one  sister, Mrs. J. N. McIntosh of Bunnell. Also surviving are two nephews, Graham  Wright of Winder, Georgia and Boykin C. Wright of Augusta, Georgia; and one  niece, Mrs. Clyde Lovern of Dothan, Alabama.
		    Pallbearers were Hubert Frier, Bion Matherly, Dale R. Brown,  Jr., S. C. Bankston, O. F. Alford, and A. B. Johnston. 
		    Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Garcia  Funeral Home of St. Augustine.
