BUNNELL -- John "Eugene" Buckner, 59, of Highway 304, who retired from the Forestry Service in Bradenton, died Friday at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford.

Mr. Buckner, born in Flagler Beach, moved to Bradenton in 1975 and returned to Bunnell last year. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Bradenton.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; a son, Jessie, Bradenton; a daughter, Carol Reed, Pueblo, Colo.; his mother, Bessie, Sanford; a brother, Jessie, Bunnell; a sister, Evelyn Nettles, Sanford; and a grandchild.
