		    Howard Bowers of Bunnell passed away Sunday afternoon at the  local hospital. He was a victim of leukemia and had been a patient in the  hospital about seven months.
		    Howard was a member of the Junior Class of Bunnell High  School. He was 18 years of age. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs.  Gene Bowers and a brother, Henry Bowers, all of Bunnell. Also surviving is his  paternal grandmother, Mrs. A. A. Wells of Bunnell and his maternal grandfather,  Grady Lee of Flagler Beach.
		    Funeral services were held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon from  the First Baptist Church of Bunnell. The pastor, Rev. Thomas Pinner,  officiated. Burial followed at the Espanola Cemetery.
		    Active pallbearers were Dewyne Metts, Joe Seale, Shelton  Barber, James O. Craig, Coy Harris, and Willie Aaron. Honorary bearers were  Johnny Seale, Jeep Worley, Scotty Crews, Leonard Buono, Donald Barrow, Jim  Brown, Kent Holland, Terry Cole, Jeff Seale, Walter Townsend, Albert Johnston,  Harry Kuleski, Jack Wetherington, Levi Brannam, Jr., Butch McDaniel, Jack  Knight, Arthur Ford, and Richard Bullock.
		    Arrangements were under the direction of Craig Funeral Home  of Bunnell.
