Funeral services for George Edward Bondy of Flagler Beach were held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Woodward-Lowther Chapel in Daytona Beach. Interment followed here at the Espanola Cemetery. Rev. Rhodes Thompson Jr., pastor of the First Christian Church of Daytona Beach officiated.

Mr. Bondy died at 10:15 Wednesday night of last week at the Flagler Hospital & Clinic where he had been ill for a week. He was 71 years of age and had resided in Flagler Beach for one year, coming from Moundsville, West Virginia. He was retired after long employment with the United Zinc Smelter Corporation of Moundsville. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Moundsville.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian Bondy, of Flagler Beach; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Kelly, and a son, Charles Bondy, both of Flagler Beach. Also surviving are three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Anna McIlvain, Mrs. Carrie Hendrix, Mrs. Emma Himnelrich, and Wylie Bondy all of Moundsville.
