		    J. B. Barber, 80-year-old Flagler County resident, passed  away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Martha Booe, late Sunday night, after an  illness of several years, most of which time he was nearly helpless from  paralysis.
		    Mr. Barber came to Flagler County from Baxley, Georgia, his  native home, 5 years ago and has been living until recently at Espanola. He and  Mrs. Barber were brought to the home of their daughter a few weeks ago when it  became apparent that the aged man was failing rapidly. 
		    Surviving the deceased are his widow; four daughters, Mrs.  Martha Booe and Mrs. E. E. Howard, of Bunnell; Mrs. Raymond Lovett of Savannah,  Ga.; and Mrs. Max Fein of New York City; eight sons, J. D., Malcolm and Spencer  of Bunnell; C. J. and Neil of Waycross, Ga.; D. W. of Tucson, Arizona; I. L. of  Haines City; and J. M. of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one brother, Gibson, of Baxley, Ga.,  and several grand children.
		    Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the First  Baptist church here with Rev. John S. Taylor, pastor, officiating. The body was  interred in Espanola Cemetery under direction of the Craig Funeral Home of St.  Augustine.
