		      James F. Arp, 74, of Cherry  Street, a former deputy sheriff for the Flagler County Sheriff's Department,  died Sunday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler, Bunnell. 
		      
		      Mr. Arp was born in Chattanooga,  Tenn., and came here in 1977 from Ringgold, Ga. He was an Army veteran of World  War II and an Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was highly  decorated and received the Bronze Star. 
		      
		      Survivors include a daughter,  Judy Hosford, Bunnell; a son, James, Orange Park; a sister, Lucille McDaniel,  East Bank, Tenn.; a brother, Willard, Eau Gallie; three grandchildren; and four  great-grandchildren. 
		      
		      Craig, Palm Coast, is in charge.
