		      Victor Walter Apeler, age 53, of  St. Augustine, Fla., died Nov. 3, 2005 at his mother's home. He was a native  and lifelong resident of St. Augustine. He served in the Florida Army National  Guard. He was a mechanic for the St. Johns County School District  Transportation Department and was a maintenance personnel for IDEAL. He was a  member of the Church of God.
		      
		      Funeral services will be held 10  a.m. Tuesday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor John Tanner,  officiating. 
		      
		      Burial with military honors will  be in the Espanola Cemetery, Bunnell, Fla. Visitation will be held from 5-8  p.m. Monday at Craig Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends  immediately following the burial at Anita Tipton's 2970 Cabbage Hammock Road  and Martha Apeler's 350 Roosevelt Terrace. 
		      
		      He is survived by his wife, Terry  Apeler, St. Augustine; his children, Anita Tipton, Jennifer Apeler, Victor  Apeler Jr., James Hersey and Joseph Apeler. His mother, Martha Apeler; and  sister, Caron Cambell; all of St Augustine. Grandchildren, Ronald Tipton Jr; Cheyanne  Tipton, Eathan Tipton, Katena Hersey, Kimberly Hersey, James Hersey Jr and  Trent Apeler. 
		      
		      Craig Funeral Home and Crematory  is in charge of the arrangements.
