ALLEN, NELL – Funeral services for Mrs. Nell Allen, 91, 106 E. Lambert St., Bunnell, who passed away Tuesday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bunnell First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Logan Whalen, officiating. Interment will be in Espanola Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Thursday.

Mrs. Allen was born in The Ridge, Georgia, and moved to Flagler County 58 years ago from Jacksonville. She was widow of the late George Allen, Flagler County timber producer and was a member of the Bunnell First United Methodist Church, and a real daughter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ida Powell and Mrs. Ria Johnston, both of Bunnell, and Mrs. Louis Durshimer, Albany, Ga.; one son, George, Bunnell; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Atkinson, Griffin, Ga., and Mrs. Lila Burroughs, Titusville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
