Crystal “Gail” Presswood, 65, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, surrounded by those she loved most.

Gail lived in Sandersville, GA and frequently returned to her hometown of Flagler Beach. She was born on December 12, 1956, in Bunnell, FL to parents Evelyn and Kenneth “Dink” Tucker.

She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Lee; son Clay (Kristy); grandchildren Emily, Samantha, and Trevor; brother Ken; sister Caroline and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Gail lived in Flagler County until 2000, when she and her husband retreated to their beautiful farm in Georgia. She worked for ITT during the creation of Palm Coast and later with her husband at their garage, parts and U-Haul company on A1A. In Georgia, she worked at the tax and title office.

Gail enjoyed crafts and her family, often finding ways to combine both of her passions. Anyone close to Gail has a hand crocheted stocking, doily, potholders, ornament, or something else equally as special. These are the items her family will cherish most now that she has gone.

Gail was diagnosed with cancer in early 2022 and fought the disease with vigor. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (G), sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed.

There will be a graveside service for family on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 3:00 PM in Flagler Memorial Gardens, Flagler Beach, FL A reception for friends and family will be held at the home of Clay and Kristy Presswood in Ormond Beach beginning at 5:30pm.
