Joyce Kelly Townsend

Funeral Services celebrating the life of Joyce Kelly Townsend, 87, of Palm Coast, Florida, who passed away at her home on January 18, 2016, will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Baptist Church, 956 S. Old Dixie Hwy., Bunnell, FL 32110. Interment will follow at Espanola Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.

Joyce was born on October 5, 1928 in Perry, Florida to George and Vera Kelly. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Florida. She was an avid reader, enjoyed art and was devoted to her family.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Sharon Castellano, Brenda Akins and her husband, Jim; son, Walter Townsend and his wife, Susan; brothers, Louis Kelly, Joe Kelly; grandchildren, Chad Castellano, Kelly Castellano, Matthew Townsend, Marcus Townsend, Heather Rodriguez, Season Cromwell, James Langford, Darrell Langford, Tanya Hand, Doug Akins and 26 great grandchildren.

Joyce is predeceased by her daughter, Shirley Ann Townsend and her brother, Wilber (Buddy) Kelly.

Donations may be made in Joyce's name to Flagler Youth Orchestra, 33 Postman Lane, Palm Coast, FL 32164.

The family of Mrs. Townsend entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
