Funeral services were held at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon from the First Methodist Church of Bunnell for Mrs. Lucille M. Teters, wife of M. R. Teters of Bunnell. Rev. Wesley O. Wilder, pastor of the church, officiated. Internment followed in the family plot in the Espanola Cemetery.

Mrs. Teters’ body was found early Thursday morning at a wayside park on Highway 11 east of Bunnell. A coroner jury returned a verdict of suicide.

Mrs. Teters was a lifelong resident of Bunnell and was 44 years of age. She had formerly served as city clerk of Bunnell about 10 years. She was active in the Eastern Star and was a past matron of the local chapter. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Miller Teters of Bunnell; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Black, Bunnell, and Mrs. Marie Kane, Jacksonville; three brothers, Dewey D. Moody and Robert Moody of Bunnell and Earl Moody of New Smyrna Beach.

Pallbearers were Dale B. Brown, Jr., Fred White, A. B. Johnston, C. B. Eisenbach, Lawrence Dahlquist, and S. J. Tilton.

Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine was in charge of arrangements.
