Johnny F. Mercer, 63, Holly Hill, S.C., a Bunnell native and resident most of his life, died Oct. 31 at Charleston (S.C.) Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Mercer had lived in Holly Hill for 12 years, moving from Bunnell, and was a project supervisor with Santee Portland Cement Company there. Mr. Mercer was a veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his widow, Carolyn, two sons, Richard, Norfolk, Va., and Paul, Holly Hill; a sister, Mrs. Nancy Florena Lyons, Jacksonville; four brothers, Zeno, Daytona Beach, Ray, Bunnell, Lamar, Orlando and Gayle, Kissimmee and three grandchildren.
