		      HOMER MICHAEL HANSEN, of  Cleveland, TX, died peacefully on August 1, 2002. Born in Chicago, Illinois on  November 1, 1904 to Mary and Niels Hansen, he moved to Florida at the age of  three where his family homesteaded near Flagler Beach, Florida. 
		      
		      Leaving for Texas in 1928, he  began a 42 year career with the United Gas Corporation (now Entex) only  interrupted by his service in the U.S. Navy. He was a veteran of World War II,  a member of the First United Methodist Church, American Legion, Scottish Rite  and Tarkington Prairie Masonic Lodge in Cleveland and an avid hunter,  fisherman, and gardener. 
		      
		      Predeceased by his brother,  Oswald Hansen, and sister, Magdalene Morrison, he is survived by his wife of 65  years, Ruby Kutscher, daughter Mary Ann Macey and husband, Louis, and son  Michael H. Hansen and wife, Priscilla and five grandchildren. 
		      
		      Funeral services will be held  11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2002 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Interment will  follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. 
		      
		      Visitation will be at Pace-Stancil  Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas on Friday August 2, 2002 from 4:00 to 6:00  p.m.
