Jessica C. Malone, 82, Sarasota, died Aug. 7, 2002.

She was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Ormond Beach and came to Sarasota in 1951 from Miami. She was a homemaker. She was Catholic. She graduated from Florida State University. 

Survivors include a daughter, Jan Scano of Sarasota; sons Bill of Bradenton and Patrick of Houston; a sister, Kay Panella of Indiana; brothers Vic Carlisle of Gainesville and Ted Cyzycki of Daytona Beach; and three grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 24 at Robarts Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be later.
