Dorothy M. (Dottie) Konopasek, 5 Casper Court, a retired telephone operator, died last Thursday morning at her home, victim of an apparent heart attack. She was 60.

Mrs. Konopasek, along with her widower, Charles, was one of the pioneer residents of Palm Coast moving here in 1972 from her native New York City.

A large group of Palm Coast residents, including some former residents who have moved away, attended her funeral Friday morning at Mother Seton Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Cody officiated.

Mrs. Konopasek was a member of Mother Seton, the Palm Coast Women’s Golf Club and the Palm Coast Firebelles.

Survivors, in addition to her widower, include a daughter, Ellen Woodard, New York City; two sons, Kevin, New York City, and Richard, San Diego; and one brother, George Stucky, San Diego
