Mrs. V. C. Sparkman of Port Orange, mother of Ben and Steve Sparkman of Bunnell, died early Thursday evening at the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach. She was 85 years of age.

Funeral services were held at the chapel of Baggett-McIntosh in Daytona Beach Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Port Orange.

Survivors include three sons, Ben O. Sparkman and Steve Sparkman of Bunnell, and Leon Sparkman of Daytona Beach; three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Dunbar and Ida M. Sparkman of Port Orange, and Mrs. Ethel Ditson of Daytona Beach.
