Death came Sunday evening to Mrs. Mary Barber, 75-year-old resident of Bunnell, following an illness of several weeks. She was at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Booe, when she died.

Mrs. Barber was a native of Appling County, Georgia, but has been a resident of this county for the past 10 years, acquiring a large circle of friends here during that time.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist church here Monday afternoon with Rev. John S. Taylor, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. C. M. Samford, past or the local Methodist church.

The body was laid to rest in Espanola Cemetery the same afternoon.

Mrs. Barber was the mother of 13 children, all of who are living except one, he passed away two years ago after reaching more that 30 years of age.

Those surviving are: J. D. Barber, Mrs. Martha Booe, G. M. Barber, and J. S. Barber of Bunnell; E. B. Barber of Manor, Ga.; C. J. Barber of Rockingham, Ga.; J. M. Barber of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. E. E. Howard of Mt. Pleasant, GA.; Mrs. R. S. Lovett of Savannah, Ga.; Ira L. Barber of Cross City; Mrs. Max Fein of New York City; D. W. Barber of Tucson, Ariz.; and 34 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The pallbearers were Adolph Deen, George Moody, F. L. Byrd, Frank Mercer, A. G. Thompson, and R. W. Deen.
