Funeral services for Fred Shaw, 80, of Flagler Beach were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home in Ormond Beach. The Rev. Bernard Dooley, pastor of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Flagler County, officiated.
Mr. Shaw died Dec. 6. He had lived in the county 13 years, coming from Detroit. Before retiring, he worked with the Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn; Mich., for more than 40 years.
He was veteran of World War I, serving in the British army. He belonged to the F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge No.2, Detroit. He was born in Wigan, England.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Van Doorn of Ormond Beach; one son, William Shaw of New Baltimore, Mich., and one brother, Moses Shaw of Miramar; 12 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
