Patrick Henry Scott, a native of Illinois, and at the ripe old age of 82 years passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Abbott, with whom he had made his home during the past three years.

Mr. Scott is survived by four children, a son in Arkansas, a daughter living near Tampa, a daughter in California and Mrs. Abbott of this city. Mr. Scott made every arrangement for his funeral services prior to his death, was cognizant of his condition and ready for the final moment. His death was painless and the aged form gave way to the last long sleep without a tremor.

Interment was at Espanola cemetery Christmas Day, services from the residence under the direction of the Adventist church, of which he was a communicant.
