	      Carey Elliot Purvis of Flagler Beach,  who was employed at the Lehigh Portland Cement Company's plant, passed away  early Wednesday morning.
	      He was stricken with a heart attack shortly after he  arrived at the plant and, died en route to the hospital.
	      Mr. Purvis was born in Century, Florida,  and had resided in Flagler   Beach for the past six  years. He was employed as a repairman in the maintenance department of the  Lehigh plant. He was 44 years of age.
	      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Purvis, Flagler Beach;  his mother, Mrs. Lila Purvis, Century, Florida;  one daughter, Mrs. Jean Purvis Broxton of Kentucky; one son, James Purvis of  Flagler Beach; four sisters, Mrs. J. R. Walters of Bunnell; Mrs. R. B. Jacoby  of Pensacola; Mrs. H. F. Wheeler of Panama City; land Mrs. W.  .N. Brown of New Bern, N. C.; two brothers, J. C. Purvis of EI Paso, Texas, and  B. W. Purvis of Century.
	      Also surviving are one grandchild, James Broxton, Jr.,  and five neices and nephews.
	      Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist  Church of Bunnell, but the day of the funeral has not been set, pending  arrival of relatives.

           Funeral services for C. E.  Purvis, who passed away early Wednesday morning from a heart attack were held  from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell at four o’clock Friday afternoon. The  pastor, Rev. Thomas Pinner, officiated. Interment followed at Espanola Cemetery.
	      Pallbearers were Harold Huff, Johnny Mercer, Carl  Bratcher, Pete Peterson, Robert Schatz and Lawrence West. Craig Funeral Home  was in charge of arrangements
