Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the chapel of Haigh and Brooks in Daytona Beach for O. B. Powell, well known salesman for Armour & Co., with Rev. Paul Edsell, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Mr. Powell, who was 54 years of age, died at his home on Mobile St. in Daytona Beach last Thursday evening about 9:30 after an illness of several months. Mr. Powell was known to many residents of Flagler County, having sold in this territory for 17 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, a member of a Daytona Beach Masonic lodge and of Morocco Shrine in Jacksonville.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lois Powell; one son, Oliver, Jr., and one daughter, Mary, who reside at the family home with their mother. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters.

Interment was in Memorial Cemetery where members of the Masonic Fraternity conducted the committal ceremony.
