Word has been received of the death of Rev. Howard Porter, 56, a former pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Bunnell, who died Tuesday in a West Palm Beach hospital.

Rev. Porter served as pastor of the Bunnell Church from 1963-1965. He has been pastor of the Clewiston Methodist Church since 1965.

Funeral services were Thursday at. Clewiston and burial was in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery at Daytona Beach.
