James Nelson Pidcock, of Moultrie, Georgia, and a former resident of this county, died in St. Augustine Wednesday after a brief illness.

Funeral will be held at Lebanon, N. J.

Pidcock was part owner of Jones-Pidcock Turpentine Company in this county, and was at one time associated in an ochre mining venture here with Dave Roberts and his father, Nathan Roberts. He also was one of the contractors who built a part of the county road system of Flagler County.

The deceased was at the time of his death president of the Georgia, Ashburn, Sylvester and Camilla Railroad Company, and was at one time president of the Georgia Northern Railroad, which was organized 42 years ago.

Mr. Pidcock was well known to many of the early residents of Bunnell and Flagler County.
