	      Dean M. (Pete) Peterson, 56, Espanola, passed away  Thursday, April 28, following an extended illness. Born in Portland,  Oregon, he moved to Flagler County 25 years  ago from Bradenton.  He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Force, and a member  of the Flagler Beach United   Methodist Church.  He was currently employed as shop supervisor for ITT Wadsworth Lumber Co. 
	      He was Past Master of Bunnell Masonic Lodge 200 F&AM, and  was instrumental in forming the Flagler Beach Volunteer Fire Dept. where he  served as Fire Chief for 15 years, and was also instrumental in starting the  Espanola Volunteer Fire Dept.
	      Survivors include is wife, Etta; one daughter Mrs. Susie  Pellicer, Bunnell; one son Dean, Orlando; his father, Arnold, Salem, Oregon  and two grandchildren, Todd and Angela Peterson.
	      Funeral services were held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Bunnell First United   Methodist Church  with the Rev. Allen Barrett officiating, and assisted by the Rev. Logan  Whalen.
	      Masonic graveside services were conducted by Bunnell Lodge  200 F&AM. Interment was in Espanola   Cemetery. Pallbearers  were Eldon Knight, John McKenny, H. C. Cobb, Harry McKenny, John Lynn and  Hubert Skipper.
	      Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
