P. E. Peters, principal of the local high school, was called to Dothan, Alabama, Sunday morning by the death of his mother which occurred early Sunday morning at a Dothan hospital, after an illness of several months duration. Mrs. P. E. Peters has been at her bedside for the past four weeks.

The remains were .returned to the family home in Chipley, Florida, where funeral services were held Monday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Peters are expected to return to their home here during the weekend.
